SUPERHEROES

Each photograph includes the location in Mexico where they are from and aproximately how much money they send back home. I appreciate these photographs because I know many people friends, family, and neighbors that do the same thing. I always respected them for what they do and only inspire me to appreciate the life that I have. Including my parents, I appreciate everything they've done not only for themselves but for there families and children. I think this project is great. Its good to see photography have a political stand and show that the majority of immigrants are only looking to better there life, like everyone else. Human nature to find happiness no??!

the radiant child

Genius Child

This is a song for the genius child.
Sing it softly, for the song is wild.
Sing it softly as ever you can -
Lest the song get out of hand.

Nobody loves a genius child.

Can you love an eagle,
Tame or wild?
Can you love an eagle,
Wild or tame?
Can you love a monster
Of frightening name?

Nobody loves a genius child.

Kill him - and let his soul run wild.

memories in actions

i was rearanging the book case...and as i moved some of the records.
i came across Dudley Perkins Washed brain syndrome, and was reminded
of how much
i love
Jason Jagel's work
i became familiar with his work because of that 12" single

"collecting memories and events in fictional autobiographical form, using drawing and painting on paper......... I want to feel these stories always in motion, still happening now."
- Jason Jagel

i feel that way of some of the writings in my journals.
i have ideas brewing.
but how do i make thoughts into things.
